The Sole Factory

Shoe Donation Program

The Sole Factory, powered by Hoop Factory in Ogden, Utah, is dedicated to giving every player the chance to step onto the court with confidence. Through this program, we collect lightly used basketball sneakers and donate them to families who may not have the means to purchase a pair.

Basketball is more than a game, it builds teamwork, discipline, and community. But without the right shoes, many kids and families miss out on that opportunity. The Happy Feet Project bridges that gap by making sure no player is left on the sidelines.

Hoops and Homework

Tutoring Program

At Hoop Factory, we believe success isn’t just built on the court, it starts in the classroom. That’s why we created Hoops & Homework, a program designed to support students academically while they pursue their love for basketball.

During practices, students have access to tutor and study support. If parents notice their child struggling in a subject, they can let us know, we’ll provide direct help or connect them with an expert who can. This way, kids can stay engaged in the game they love while staying on track with school.

Basketball opens doors, but education keeps them open.

Ball Beyond Borders

Volunteering Program

At Hoop Factory, we believe basketball is bigger than the game it’s about lifting others up. Ball Beyond Borders is our volunteer and service program that encourages players, families, and community members to give back both on and off the court.
 
Through service projects, community outreach, and acts of kindness, we create opportunities for our athletes to grow as leaders while making a positive impact in Ogden and beyond. Together, we’re building stronger teams, stronger families, and stronger communities one good deed at a time.
